Esse fen\u00f4meno \u00e9 conhecido como reflex\u00e3o. A reflex\u00e3o de ondas eletromagn\u00e9ticas pode ser compreendida utilizando as leis da reflex\u00e3o e as propriedades das ondas.<\/p>\n<h2>Leis Prim\u00e1rias da Reflex\u00e3o<\/h2>\n<p>Existem duas leis principais de reflex\u00e3o:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>O \u00e2ngulo de incid\u00eancia (\u03b8<sub>i<\/sub>) \u00e9 igual ao \u00e2ngulo de reflex\u00e3o (\u03b8<sub>r<\/sub>). Ou seja, quando uma onda eletromagn\u00e9tica atinge uma superf\u00edcie, ela ser\u00e1 refletida dessa superf\u00edcie no mesmo \u00e2ngulo em que se aproximou.<\/li>\n<li>A onda incidente, a normal \u00e0 superf\u00edcie e a onda refletida est\u00e3o todas no mesmo plano.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Mudan\u00e7a de Fase na Reflex\u00e3o<\/h2>\n<p>Quando uma onda eletromagn\u00e9tica \u00e9 refletida, seus componentes de campo el\u00e9trico e magn\u00e9tico podem sofrer uma mudan\u00e7a de fase, dependendo das propriedades dos meios na fronteira. Essa mudan\u00e7a de fase \u00e9 importante para entender o comportamento da onda refletida e qualquer interfer\u00eancia que possa ocorrer com outras ondas.<\/p>\n<h2>Coeficiente de Reflex\u00e3o (R)<\/h2>\n<p>O coeficiente de reflex\u00e3o (R) representa a fra\u00e7\u00e3o da pot\u00eancia incidente que \u00e9 refletida na fronteira. Ele pode ser calculado usando as equa\u00e7\u00f5es de Fresnel, que levam em conta os \u00e2ngulos de incid\u00eancia e reflex\u00e3o, bem como as propriedades dos dois meios (como seus \u00edndices de refra\u00e7\u00e3o).<\/p>\n<p>Para incid\u00eancia normal (\u03b8<sub>i<\/sub> = \u03b8<sub>r<\/sub> = 0), o coeficiente de reflex\u00e3o para o campo el\u00e9trico (tamb\u00e9m chamado de coeficiente de reflex\u00e3o de amplitude) pode ser calculado usando a f\u00f3rmula:<\/p>\n<p>R = |(n<sub>1<\/sub> &#8211; n<sub>2<\/sub>) \/ (n<sub>1<\/sub> + n<sub>2<\/sub>)|<sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Onde n<sub>1<\/sub> e n<sub>2<\/sub> s\u00e3o os \u00edndices de refra\u00e7\u00e3o dos primeiros e segundos meios, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<h2>Reflex\u00e3o para Incid\u00eancia N\u00e3o-Normal<\/h2>\n<p>Para incid\u00eancia n\u00e3o-normal, as equa\u00e7\u00f5es de Fresnel tornam-se mais complexas e dependem da polariza\u00e7\u00e3o da onda incidente. A onda incidente pode ser decomposta em duas polariza\u00e7\u00f5es ortogonais: el\u00e9trica transversal (TE) e magn\u00e9tica transversal (TM).
