Gerbang ini berfungsi untuk menghasilkan keluaran benar (1) hanya jika salah satu dan hanya salah satu dari kedua masukan bernilai benar (1). Jika kedua masukan bernilai sama, baik keduanya benar atau keduanya salah, keluaran gerbang XOR akan bernilai salah (0).<\/p>\n<h2>Fungsi Gerbang XOR<\/h2>\n<p>Gerbang XOR memiliki dua masukan dan satu keluaran. Jika kita simbolkan masukan A dan B serta keluaran sebagai Y, maka fungsi dari gerbang XOR bisa dirumuskan sebagai:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y = A \u2295 B<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yang berarti bahwa Y akan bernilai 1 jika hanya salah satu dari A atau B yang bernilai 1.<\/p>\n<h2>Tabel Kebenaran Gerbang XOR<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Jika A = 0 dan B = 0, maka Y = 0<\/li>\n<li>Jika A = 0 dan B = 1, maka Y = 1<\/li>\n<li>Jika A = 1 dan B = 0, maka Y = 1<\/li>\n<li>Jika A = 1 dan B = 1, maka Y = 0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tabel ini menjelaskan dengan jelas bagaimana gerbang XOR bekerja berdasarkan kombinasi nilai-nilai dari kedua masukan.<\/p>\n<h2>Aplikasi Gerbang XOR<\/h2>\n<p>Gerbang XOR memiliki berbagai aplikasi dalam bidang elektronik dan komputasi, beberapa di antaranya:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Operasi Aritmatika<\/strong>: Gerbang XOR digunakan dalam rangkaian pencacah (adder) untuk operasi penjumlahan biner, di mana ia membantu dalam menentukan bit hasil penjumlahan tanpa carry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kriptografi<\/strong>: Dalam kriptografi, gerbang XOR sering digunakan dalam operasi enkripsi dan dekripsi data karena sifatnya yang unik, yaitu jika suatu data XOR dengan kunci dua kali, hasilnya akan kembali ke data asli.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pengecekan Paritas<\/strong>: XOR dapat digunakan untuk menghasilkan bit paritas dalam sistem transmisi data untuk mengecek dan mengoreksi kesalahan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sirkuit Logika<\/strong>: Gerbang XOR merupakan komponen penting dalam berbagai rangkaian logika seperti Full Adder, Half Adder, dan rangkaian deteksi kesalahan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Dengan memahami gerbang XOR dan aplikasinya, kita bisa mengaplikasikan konsep-konsep dasar dalam elektromagnetisme dan elektronika untuk merancang dan memahami sistem digital modern.
