Ce dispositif a \u00e9t\u00e9 invent\u00e9 par Samuel Hunter Christie en 1833, mais il a \u00e9t\u00e9 popularis\u00e9 par Sir Charles Wheatstone en 1843. C&rsquo;est une des m\u00e9thodes les plus pr\u00e9cises pour mesurer des r\u00e9sistances en laboratoire ou sur le terrain.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le pont de Wheatstone est compos\u00e9 de quatre r\u00e9sistances dispos\u00e9es en forme de losange.<\/li>\n<li>Deux des r\u00e9sistances sont connues, une troisi\u00e8me est variable, et la quatri\u00e8me est la r\u00e9sistance inconnue que l&rsquo;on d\u00e9sire mesurer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le principe de fonctionnement repose sur l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrage des r\u00e9sistances.
